Sadly, the former I.B.T.E museum, once home to Priory telephone exchange in Queen Street, Worksop, Nottinghamshire S80 2AN, is no longer open. At one stage it appeared that it would be part of the BT Connected Earth project, however, this was not the case. Despite gallant attempts by the museum to raise funds to keep it open, it was eventually forced to close. I visited the museum in August 2002, shortly before it closed.

Worksop telephone exchange moved to a new building located in 72 Newgate Street, Worksop S80 2HD.
